Communicate ID was established in 2018, as an expansion of JTN with specialization in strategic communication, media, and campaign advisory service. Our expert members have proven track record in international and national level, with strong network in media and government agencies.
Our Inspirational Story
On 28 September 2018, a massive Mw 7.5 earthquake and tsunami struck north-western Sulawesi, Indonesia, causing over 4000 fatalities and severe damage to several areas in and around Palu City.
Communicate ID acted as the coordinator for emergency aid delivery to disaster-affected areas in Central Sulawesi. We were one of the firsts which were supported by the Indonesian military air force in the aid delivery. We also partnered with the National shipping company (Pelni) for sea transport.
In addition to aid delivery, we supported the evacuation planning and the involvement of teachers and psychologists in disaster relief operations, and we were the first independent agencies who succeeded to deliver aid and supports to remote area.
Our success story have been published in the media, and presented in a disaster management class by the Professor in the Disaster Prevention Research Institute, Kyoto University.
